A bit about Amy n' Chris

Amy Mahon (pet names from Chris: Ames, Amepea, Amesplat)
I'm Amy and I reside in London, Canada. I am the full-time (soon to be part-time) Creative Director for a company called Pictures in Motion who specializes in DVD photo tribute productions and funeral web solutions. When I'm not working, I'm talking to Chris, getting crafty, listening to funky motown tunes, hitting the gym, watching interior design tv shows, or entertaining my cuuuuute kitten Gravy.

I'm Chris and I'm based in Bath, UK. I run a web design company called blubolt and we specialise in web-application & ecommerce development. When I'm not working (which isn't often...eeeps!), I'm chatting to my beautiful girlfriend Amy, shifting some weights in the gym, indulging in some form of sport, or generally chilling! Oh, or eating...I get hungry really often!!

What's with the site?

OK. We're not going to deny it. Some parts of this site ARE cringeworthy. But's that's on purpose! We're not really this mushy in real life! We both just wanted to build a site together where we could not only document our times together but also to showcase our talents both in design and coding. Also, if you are going to combine web-design with two people who are in love, a site like this is kind of expected!

How Amy n' Chris met

So it goes a bit like this. Chris and his work-partner, Max, launch this new website, traineo.com. Site somehow it hits the front page of digg, and diggaholic Amy decides to click through. She signs up. Chris happens to stumble upon her on route to collecting a group of members to get some feedback on the site, she replies and the conversing begins!
So ummmm, Amy, I kinda like you...
The general gist of Chris's initial emails to Amy
So one thing leads to another - they talk geek about websites, what they're interested in, similarities between their personalities & approach to life keep popping up. They just get on so incredibly well - and they kind of find each other attractive too...Neither can believe they've found such a perfect match and at such a good time.

Although seperated by 3,500 miles of land and ocean, distance has never impeded their blossoming relationship (thanks MSN & Skype!). So if you want to follow a cute, ok mushy, journal of Amy and Chris's time together, bookmark this little baby!
